Patricia Tripp, Founder and CEO

Patricia is an advocate for safe, healthy and sustainable agricultural practices and has successfully partnered with local farmers, the agriculture industry, non-profits and public health community to support and enhance this mission through consulting, grass-roots program development and public health education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Masters in Agricultural and Life Sciences from Virginia Tech, with a concentration in biosafety, biosecurity and public health. Patricia has extensive expertise in on-farm food safety, food defense, sustainable farming practices, and postharvest physiology. Patricia is the founder of Artisan Food Solutions, LLC, located in Greensboro, NC and collaborates with entities such as NC State University — CEFS NC Growing Together Project and Carolina Farm Stewardship Association, who share the same mission in supporting small, diversified growers with food safety compliance and supply chain opportunities.
